Last Weeks Reading
Well with the wedding and trip, not much reading done last week. I did a lot of reading of articles for school but that was about it. Back to the usual this week. Working on reading Divergent which is suppose to be for people that liked the Hunger Games trilogy. I see the sames themes but I dont think the writing is as good. But then again, I am not very far into it.

My husband and I saw the Hunger Games movie the other day. We read the book together. It was an intense movie, but what drove me crazy was the group of people behind us. Clearly only one of the people had read the book was having to explain and answer questions for everyone they were with. I wish we had chosen different seats. Oh well. Still a good movie. I am interested to see the others that they are making. I guess I ought to get to reading the other books.

ReplyDeleteHunger Games...I enjoyed the first one, not a fan of the other two. I am not interested in the movie, I've been disappointed too many times when they make a movie from the book..:(I will wait till it comes out on cable...no rush.
ReplyDeleteI read the first book and liked it...I need to catch up on the rest of them. Divergent sounds interesting, thanks for the review... I will definitely give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI thought the movie was great and am looking forward to the others. I just borrowed the books from my sister and will be reading them all soon.
